چکیده
Recent data from the International Diabetes Federation indicated that at least 500,000 children aged 14 to 18 years worldwide have type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). Currently, there is no cure for T1DM, so goal of therapy achieve and maintain optimal glucose levels, in particular, using insulin therapy, physical activity, diet. Studies more than 20,000 with T1DM shown benefits self-monitoring levels episodic glycemic control long-term reduction glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c). The purpose our study was investigate specifics personal continuous monitoring (CGM) adolescents. Materials methods. According design, included 22 patients (12 adolescents 10 children) 8 16 who were diagnosed T1DM. Questionnaires offered Pediatric Quality Life Inventory, PedsQL Module, Hypoglycemia Fear Survey-II, Treatment Satisfaction Questionnaire (DTSQ). Results. Before installation CGM systems, had average indicators emotional, social role functioning. It noted these significantly increased response use (p < 0.05 each), while parameter functioning did not change (р > 0.05). We find a significant correlation between level HbA1c total score on DTSQ (ρ = 0.13; p This indicates satisfaction treatment necessarily related control. found previously used compliant further Among most frequent drawbacks CGM, their parents mentioned: discomfort sensor (62.19 %), need calibration, i.e. measuring portable glucometer (58.61 stigmatization child wears by surrounding society (47.83 %). Conclusions. In opinion, appropriate can be recommended newly history disease order optimize improve patient’s awareness control, increase compliance both terms communication doctor general treatment.

متن کاملValidation of Continuous Glucose Monitoring in Children and Adolescents With Cystic Fibrosis
OBJECTIVE To validate continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) in children and adolescents with cystic fibrosis. RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS Paired oral glucose tolerance tests (OGTTs) and CGM monitoring was undertaken in 102 children and adolescents with cystic fibrosis (age 9.5-19.0 years) at baseline (CGM1) and after 12 months (CGM2). CGM validity was assessed by reliability, reproducibility, a...

15 صفحه اولdevelopment of different optical methods for determination of glucose using cadmium telluride quantum dots and silver nanoparticles
a simple, rapid and low-cost scanner spectroscopy method for the glucose determination by utilizing glucose oxidase and cdte/tga quantum dots as chromoionophore has been described. the detection was based on the combination of the glucose enzymatic reaction and the quenching effect of h2o2 on the cdte quantum dots (qds) photoluminescence.in this study glucose was determined by utilizing glucose...
